This Cancellation Policy explains when and how orders placed through the TatoPlus mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”) may be canceled.
By placing an order through TatoPlus, you agree to this Cancellation Policy in addition to our Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy.
TatoPlus is a technology platform that connects customers with independent restaurants and independent delivery partners.
Because food orders are prepared immediately after acceptance:
Orders may only be canceled within a limited time window, as described below.
Once a restaurant has accepted or started preparing an order, cancellation may no longer be possible.
Cancellation eligibility and any refund are subject to this policy and applicable law.
You may cancel an order before the restaurant accepts the order:
The order will be canceled without penalty.
You will receive a full refund, including applicable taxes and fees.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method.
Once the restaurant has accepted your order:
Cancellation is generally not permitted.
If cancellation is allowed at TatoPlus’s discretion:
Food costs, service fees, and delivery fees may be non-refundable.
A partial refund or account credit may be issued in limited cases.
If the order has already been prepared or a delivery partner has been assigned or dispatched:
Cancellation is not permitted.
No refunds or credits will be issued, except where required by law.
A restaurant may cancel an order due to:
Item or ingredient unavailability
Unexpected closure
Operational or technical issues
In such cases:
You will receive a full refund, including food price, taxes, and applicable fees.
Refunds will be processed automatically.
TatoPlus may cancel an order due to:
Platform errors or outages
Suspected fraud or unauthorized activity
Safety, security, or compliance concerns
Force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, severe weather)
If TatoPlus cancels your order for operational reasons:
You will receive a full refund, unless otherwise required by law.
Orders are not eligible for cancellation due to:
Delivery delays caused by traffic, weather, or high demand
Changes in estimated delivery time
If a delivery partner is unable to complete delivery:
TatoPlus may cancel the order and issue a refund or credit, at its discretion.
For alcohol orders:
Cancellations may be subject to additional legal restrictions.
Orders may be canceled if:
Valid ID is not presented at delivery
The recipient appears intoxicated
Delivery is prohibited by law
In such cases:
Refunds may be limited or denied, as permitted by law.
Service fees and delivery fees may be non-refundable once the restaurant accepts the order.
Tips provided to delivery partners are non-refundable once delivery has begun or is completed.
Promotional credits or discounts:
Have no cash value
Are not refundable
May not be reinstated after cancellation
To cancel an eligible order:
Log into your TatoPlus account
Navigate to your order history
Select the order and choose the cancel option (if available)
If the cancel option is unavailable, the order may no longer be eligible for cancellation.
TatoPlus reserves the right to:
Limit or deny cancellations for users with excessive cancellation activity
Suspend or terminate accounts for misuse or abuse of the cancellation system
Deny refunds for cancellations that violate this policy
This Cancellation Policy does not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. Where the law requires cancellation or refund rights, TatoPlus will comply.
We may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time. Changes will be effective when posted on the Platform. Continued use of TatoPlus after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
